It’s now been two weeks since we turned over the keys to the new owners. I took Teddy back over to get a few photos of him on the island that Travis built (it will be staying with the house) before we handed over the keys. These are some of my favorite images of Theodore.
Travis and I got engaged right before Christmas in 2015. We knew we would start looking for a house after the holidays and that I wanted it to have an island. Travis took those few days before Christmas to build this island and surprise me on Christmas morning. Soon after we would find this house and the island would fit perfectly in the kitchen (getting it through the door is a different story). Friends and family have gathered around this island and it was the center for holiday baking. I hope the new family finds their own way to make special memories in this house, just as we did.
